The Dirty Picture Dirt is All Around

The movie has three more important actors, Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi and Tushar Kapoor along with Vidya Balan. Milan Luthria is the director of the movie.
As per the Dirty Picture movie review, the movie shows the life of a small town girl Reshma (Vidya Balan) with loads of dreams to become a well-known personality in the Movie industry. After the time and again rejection in the auditions, Reshma decides to be out of her shell and finally succeeds to get into a sensuous film. Reshma soon transforms herself into a new avatar named Silk and leads the industry as a sex symbol.
An already prominent actor Suryakanth (Naseeruddin Shah) and the fans of Reshma are the ones who cannot resist their eyes away from her. While Journalist and art film maker Abraham (Emraan Hashmi), omnipresent ethical police, hysterical women group are not in whole hearted support of her fame’s frame. Soon Silk finds her love of life Ramakanth (Tushar Kapoor) who is the younger brother of Suryakanth. Gradually a rumour starts buzzing all around that Silk is using both of the brothers to achieve her desired film offers in the industry. As a result Suryakant drops Silk for the high profile films forcing her to work with all the small production houses.
Shortly Silk becomes unable to concentrate on her career for such a sudden downfall in her stardom. At a party cheap coach purses outlet , when she meets her then competitor Shakeela, she gets more afraid and starts insulting her. This incident makes Ramakanth ashamed of Silk and breaks off with her. Little by little she loses fame and gets into depression. She gets addicted to smoking and alcohol. She comes up to a small time film director and is forced to shoot a porn movie. The place is fortunately raided by the police and she manages to escape. In due course Abraham falls in love for her. So Abraham arranges a surprise for Silk by bringing her mother who once has separated herself from her daughter.
But the tragic part as Silk kills herself out of immense hopelessness for her life. This story of Silk is narrated by Abraham in the movie as he is the only sensible one to understand her struggle and pain.
The movie is basically shot on the plots of Chennai to maintain that south Indian environment in the film. The Dirty Picture movie has been released on December 2, 2011 and till now it has the 5th biggest opening of the year. The Dirty Picture rating is also not too bad. The movie is rated 3 out of 5 stars to a maximum level.
